STUDIO LIGHTING

The word "photography" means "light drawing". The more you understand how to control light, the better all your images will be.

In this course you will:

  • Learn the basic principles, lighting options, and how to  apply them to any subject: portraits, still life, food and more
  • Work hands-on in the studio with studio electronic flash, small portable flash, and tungsten (incandescent) lighting.
  •  Process and retouch your images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

This course is intended for those students who have a basic understanding of camera controls, and want to learn how to use artificial light sources to enhance their image-making skills.
